This is a tough course for most golfers, lots of narrow fairways and undulating greens. You really have to know your club distances on this course. There is water and ravines throughout the course. One great advice: know how the ball breaks on the greens, you will have more enjoyment.

Well maintained course. Offers a good mix of easy and difficult holes. Although, hitting over water / bayous / ponds can be a little intimidating for some beginners. golf carts can use some upgrading and maintenance. Good club house (bar and food is actualy pretty decent) and pro shop. Staff is very professional and service is pretty good.

Course has a lot of potential. There is some good variety in layout. Definitely a shot-makers course. However, this course lacks consistence maintenance, no drainage, and fairways that require a jack-hammer to make a proper divot. Was complete washout when we played this weekend. Greens were slow, so don't know how fast they normally run. My guess is around 8-9. Unfortunately, at $50.00 for "prime" weekend, I won't be returning to Greatwood anytime soon.
