while it is a short course...what makes it hard are the poor fairways and rock hard, tiny greens...I love how far away it is from Houston and ALL the Yahoos clogging up the fairways...buddy and I played 18 holes in 2.5 hours...

Good beginner course, WAY out of town, but pretty in-expensive.

I've played there quite a lot lately...trying to save $$ & not take 5 hours to play a round. This is the place for both! It's not fancy by any stretch and doesn't really have any Amenities with the exception of very friendly people!! Greens are a little rough, but come Fall and winter, they should do a little better...as will the fairways. Tee Boxes are always rough...but like SteveArrington said, " $20 for 18 holes with a cart was a descent value!!" Give it a shot sometime when it's impossible to get on in the city... you'll enjoy yourself!
