Lake Sweetwater Municipal Golf Course, Sweetwater, TX

ive played this course for many years now. george does a fantastic job making sure the greens are the best in the area. it would be nice if the fairways were a bit better, or even a few longer teeboxes. i like the calmness you get out at the lake,the visions of the rolling hills and the windmill farms. truly a warming scene early sunrise or later in the evening at the sun begins to fall over the hills. with the lake being full again, it feels like it brought life back to this once fading gem. this is a great course to enjoy a game with friends, not as challenging, but still a lot of fun! during the summer on wednesday nights a scramble is held at 6pm and attracts a lot of local golfers and is always a blast!
