This is an 18 hole layout with brand new greens on the back nine. Bermuda fairways and bent greens. Three sets of tees. Water comes into play on 5 holes but there are no sand traps. A tale of two nines as the front nine goes through rolling hills and thick mesquite lined fairways with 4 of the 5 water holes coming here and smaller greens. The back nine is relatively flat and open with more of a links feel with larger and flater (and new) greens. The area is now famous for it''s windfarms which should be a clue as to the predominant weather you can expect, in a word, windy! The fairways are not perfect by any stretch but winter rules make it a fair test of golf. Beautiful views of Lake Sweetwater and the surrounding area from vista points on the golf course. Rental carts available.

This is a very fun course with a laid back atmosphere, the greens are usually well maintained with very hard fairways. It is an 18 hole course, not a 9. It is built in a very ranching area around the Sweetwater Lake, when it actually has water in it, worth playing.
