I played a round at the TPC Champions course and it was one of the most unpleasant golf experiences I have evere had. The driving range was cramped and there were no avaialable spots for me to warm up. The course sits next to the Scottsdale airport and throughout the entire round we were inundated with sirplanes constantly landing directly above us. It was extrememly unpleasant and annoying. The round took over 5 hours to complete and the course rangers were useless. To make matters worse, in the middle of the round, on a Sunday afternoon, the course maintenance crew began sanding the greens, making them unplayable. At the turn, we went to the club manager to voice our dismay and he was the most unpleasant, surly person I have ever encountered ata a golf facility. Scenery at the course consists of unfinished construction and is an eyesore. All in all, I would prefer to stay home and watch QVC rather than endure another round at this dump.
