The 9-hole "Vineyard" course at the Woodbridge Golf & Country Club facility in Woodbridge, California features 3,207 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Bert Stamps, the Vineyard golf course opened in 1950.
Probably the nicest club in San Joaquin County. In addition to the three 9's, they have a pool, tennis courts, and great bar and restaurant. Participated in the Crime Stoppers tourney and had one of the best meals I've ever had at a large event. Courses are in great shape with many scenes that remind me of Del Monte in Monterey. All courese are also relatively forgiving. Not a lot of trees; some absolutely wide-open fairways. Greens were in outstanding condition. Since there is another 9, members can play at the same time as a tournament is going on. As a result, it seems that members are less cranky and more welcoming of guests. Great deal. Wish I made enough money to join!
