Great course in fine condition. Plus, the course is out-of-the-way and doesn't get too much play. Thus, it plays quickly. No houses...just good golf.

The Homestead Lower Cascades course could quite possibly provide a better golfing experience than the famed Cascades course, due to a more appropriate challenge for average golfers and the spectactular scenery. This Robert Trent Jones course dates to 1963 and really provides a terrific venue for enjoyable golf. The course provides challenge with terrific greens that will definitely get your attention, and the use of elevation, sand, and water demand that you manage your game. The meandering Cascades stream comes into play on many holes, some of which you have no idea if you're not paying attention, and the scenery just may offer the largest and most beautiful distraction. Be careful not to overlook this course if in the Hot Springs, VA area, as you will have missed a gem.
