Spectacular course. Very fair. You dont have to hit tricky shots to play here, just straight. Most doglegs are slight but fairways are narrow and the rough is punnishing, it will litterally grab any wayward ball and (if in the mood) swallow it. Plenty of hazards to keep one honest but very playable. Resort golf prices for non-locals like me. I think I shelled out $250 for my son and I all in including the $40 fee for booking a tee time 90 days out. I would happily do so again on my next trip.

I very beautiful course. Definately suited for the PGA Tour. There is also very long grass in the rough, which makes it more difficult for someone that doesn't always hit straight.

Played Torrey North last summer and being from the Midwest, had no clue how to play out of the kakuya rough. If you're not familiar, be sure you get familiar very quickly as you WILL be in the rough. The fairways are about as skinny as permissible. It's a great course with beautiful views...the best muni I have ever played.
