The 18-hole "Tanglewood" course at the Tanglewood Resort facility in Pottsboro, Texas features 6,993 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.5 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Ralph M. Plummer, ASGCA/Arnold Palmer, the Tanglewood golf course opened in 1964.

This used to be the signature golf course of the Texomaland area. I just can't understand how a course can slip like this one. The greens are in awful shape with way too many dead spots and the tee boxes looked like they were marked by a three year old.
I'm just so disappointed because this course has a number of really challenging holes which could make for an enjoyable experience. However, considering the condition of the course, I couldn't recommend Tanglewood to anyone.
