I played this course at least 50 times, I believe it''s every Houstonian first and second course they ever played. The fairways are wide, but watch out for houses and apartments on some of the holes. Beware the trees, or you will be punching out all day. I always enjoy playing sharpstown.

This is a flat but challenging course, there is a lot of yardage, so take out your big stick for the par fours. Great grill to feed your tummy and the locker room is filled with clean showers and private dressing rooms. This course is popular with the local Korean community, so don't be surprised if you see KJ Choi smacking the driver with his fellow countrymen. Awesome course and the staff treat you right, best kept secret on the southwest side.

Fairways are bit tighter than they look from the tee box. The greens can be sketchy at times. Not the most difficult course, ex: Hole #1 is a par 5 with a cluster of trees splitting the fairway. Great course to help refine your game as there are many beginners and you won't feel AS embarrassed if you happen to spray a few shots.
