Meadowbrook Country Club

What a great little course - beautiful pine trees and lots of hills. Neat desing with only nine greens, but by using different tee boxes, you get 18 in. We came to Palestine to stay at a B&B there, and they were perfectly welcoming to accomodate us out-of-towners, even though it's a private country club. Management was extremely helpful and very nice. This was a GREAT place to play, and not too crowded. Looking forward to going back soon.

The NEW Meadowbrook Country Club

This golf facility is a real hidden gem in the East Texas piney woods. I played here about 4 years ago and while the course was unique, it was in terrible shape the the service was non-existent.
Recently I played here as part of a tournament and MAN HAS THIS PLACE CHANGED!! The course was totally revamped. The course was in awesome shape. They installed yardage stakes and markers in the fairway, great food and service from the staff as well. I heard they have a new owner and GM so and obvisously its working. This course is no pushover by anymeans. It is an 9 hole facility that you play twice with the use of different tees. I normally shoot in the high 70's on any other course but I didnt even break 83!! Takes a lot of course knowledge so try to play with a member. My suggestion is to check this place out for yourself.
