First time playing this track, and after eventually finding it, as it's not well signposted, it had a decent layout but it was a bit rough around the edges. Bunkers were hard packed wet sand, off the fairway were a lot of hard pan areas, and the greens were a little fuzzy. Still quite a lot of trees down that need clearing from Hurricane Ike that detracted from the scenic look. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and overall the value for money ($20 after 1pm) was worth an afternoon.

Since changing ownership and becoming Santuary Golf Resort and Spa the course is slowly begining to improve. The amenities leave alot of room for improvement as there is only a small pro-shop and limited snack bar. The conditions on the course are improving as well, although the sand traps tend to be caked and hard as is found on most value priced daily fee courses. This course is worth the trip for the value.

a very challenging course. the greens are in good condition but the fairways and some tee boxes needs some work.
