So what, it's not in the best of shape. It's still fun, and worth the green fees. Decent driving range, good putting green, cold beer and a challenging course. If you can master Shorecliffs, you can master anywhere. It has every type of golf shot available, imaginable. You will use every club in your bag.

This by far the crappiest course we ever play, the conditionis poor at best. The greens are OK and that is by far the best feature of the course. The fairways are as much dirtas grass and the tee boxes are worn and uneven. The trapsare shallow and filled with playground sand ,the layout wanders through condemned homes a trailer park and storm drains some holes have average houses lining them to be fair. To add insult to injury they charge average pricesto play this jewel cause in their word "you cant beat the weather" Be warned you are not on nor will you see the beach from this course. I live walking distance from shore cliffs and play it once a year to shut my friendsup. The cafe is a health hazard and the bar is full of locals most of which never play golf. If you think I am being to harsh hit a bucket of range rocks or play twilight and live the dream.

Got to the course on Saturdy early for a 6:30 tee, the laid-back friendly staff gave us free range balls to warm up, there was no waiting to go out. This is an interesting course with a diverse collection of holes. Challenging and fun, this is not an easy course but still playable. The way it meanders through the surrounding community gives it lots of charm but sometimes made me nervous with all the large windows so close to the greens, I was afraid I would catch a chip thin and buy one of those windows. The Greens were well maintained, the tees were showing abuse, the fairways were somewhat green. This is not PELICAN BAY or MONARCH so get over it.I hope I never have to play with some of the people writing reviews because it seems like they don't know how to enjoy themselves.
