Enjoyable Round of GolfHillcrest is an average golf course that offers a reasonably priced round. Nothing fancy or flashy, but will challenge some of your game. The back nine offers more of a challenge than the front. The fun begins with # 14. A long par 4 into a difficult green (especially if the pin is up front). $15 is a par 5 peninsula green. You can go for it, but it's a skinny landing. Decisions, Decisions. #16 is a breather par 3 and #17 is a drive over a pond with a fountain. You can cut off as much of the pond as you want depending on how far you can drive the ball. My one buddy, who hits the ball short, hits it in the water every time we play here. Overall, nice course, nice people! Greens are inconsistent.
