Great layout, challenging holes, beautiful scenery, but when we played the greens were very beat up from overplay. Poorly repaired ball marks everywhere, no such thing as a true roll, sadly. If the greens had been in better shape this would be a five-star.
The good: very scenic throughout the course. no bad holes. near perfect greens. a dynamite finishing hole. great replay rate.The bad: alot of the holes look somewhat alike. the first par-5 is the 9th hole. the rough is so thick and long my friend and I lost 7 balls in the rough on the front 9, and we are both single digit handicaps. the par-3s were not awe-inspiring like I would expect for this level of course.Overall: a must play in the Ozarks. very pretty course and worth a 36 hole play. or go on twilite which is $45.
