Played this course on June 7, 2011 and found it to be in just fair condition. I would not rate this course as the "number 1" public golf course in Kentucky! Too many holes where the architect put a stretch of rough in the middle of the fairway. Good shots got punished, especially on tee shots where the landing area was not viewable from the tee. I don't gripe when a poor shot gets punished, but when a good shot lands in the rough, in the middle of the fairway ?? Come on now!

This is a great track. Excellent conditions yesterday. Greens are firm and fast. They must be super quick in the summer. Rough is thick and tough to get out of. Bunkers had plenty of sand they have an above average practice area. Course demands that you be able to play a variety of shots if you're going to shoot low. Highly recommend that you play here if you're in the area.
