I play the course a few times each year. From the tips, the course isn't too challenging, but certainly more fun for me. The greens are nice, but slow and suffer from the typical public hack not repairing ball marks. If the greens were faster (and they can be), the course would be more challenging. It isn't a driving course, so 3-metal works off most tees. Bunkering is excellent; particularly when you think about it being public; and they are in good shape. The fairways only suffer from lack of divot care - golfer and maintenance. There simply isn't enough consideration from both parties - no sand for the golfer as an incentive to repair divots; staff not tending to fairway maintenance...at least my observation. It is a fun course and you can make some birdies with good approaches. The greens are surprisingly large and tiered with true roll - again, just slow. The course lacks a driving range and the practice facilities that are there are scattered. The pace of play is always an issue there and it isn't uncommon for your playing partners to be wearing jeans - an indicator that they are not apprised of the finer points of etiquette - see above. Play it some day if you haven't. It's fun and you'll shoot a score.
