This course is all about convenience. Located in the middle of DC it provides some very nice views of the city and it's landmarks. The condition of the course and the facilities are bad. Fairways, and greens are heavily trafficed and show the wear. The course design is almost non-existent as it's flat with very little of interest from a countour or obstacle perspective. There are better options in the area and I would recommend using one of the munis in Montgomery county for a better course and value.
This is a great course for our area. 9-holes mixed par3s and 4s. A few long holes. The scenery is unique with the national monuments all around. The greens are nice. You can play this course in under 2 hours, less with a cart. 9 holes with a cart is $21 during the week just a litttle more during the weekend. I am going to play the 18 hole blue course. I would recommend this course to anyone visiting our nations capitol. cheers
This course has a lot going for it. Great scenic views of DC monuments and waterfront, great location, and pretty nice greens. The course is pretty ordinary in terms of layout and elevation, but I would definitely recommend the white course to beginner and intermediate players. Very enjoyable 9 holes after work. Get on by 7 in the summer and you're good.
For DC, the price is right with an alright view of the DC skyline. On the other hand You get what pay for with this course: Slow pace of play, spotty maintenance and air plane noise.
