Desert Dunes Golf Course - Palm Springs, California
The Desert Dunes Golf Course was opened in 1989 and was the first course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course provides excellent views of the nearby mountains and takes full advantage of the native landscape including large dunes, mature trees and desert vegetation, all of which make Desert Dunes one of the best places to play golf in the Palm Springs Area.
Desert Dunes Golf Course
In addition to many awards, this 18 hole championship golf course has hosted the US Open & other
PGA tournaments and has been voted one of the top public golf facilities in
Southern California.
Like the courses in Scotland, where the game was invented, Desert Dunes is a unique links-style course that features narrow fairways and fast greens with well-placed bunkers and many water hazards. It also has many outstanding features, including an 18-hole golf course and clubhouse open to the public, a practice facility, a well-stocked pro shop, bent-grass greens, and available PGA instruction.
Desert Dunes is one of the best golf courses you can play in the desert. So make sure you try this
one out and enjoy the untamed desert terrain and wildlife.
