Golf in Branson, Missouri
We had heard of Branson prior to our arrival but where not prepared for what we found. At first we had chuckled at the idea that Branson, Missouri could have as many, let alone more, shows and entertainment than New York City. After visiting the area, I stopped snickering, and started to pay attention.
Space will not allow a listing of all shows, but perhaps a short reference will do. They offer everything from Music Hall presentations to Andy Williams Theater, to Will Rogers Theater. In total there are some 70 shows going on day and night.
Within the area are several golf courses; two are golf resorts.
Pointe Royale
Condominiums with its championship golf course, and
Thousand Hills Golf Resort.
Although Thousand Hills has a par 64 executive layout, it is one that
has embarrassed more than a few low-handicap players looking for any easy
score.
