Callaway Golf Center

You'll find the Callaway Golf Center on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. It is one of the city's most popular places to practice golf. Not only does it have a driving range that features both artificial and real grass hitting areas, it sports a very challenging nine-hole par-3 course that is lighted at night.

History

This golfing facility was designed by Bob Cupp and it opened to its first players in 1997. The 42 acre facility has built up a steady reputation since opening and has become so popular a destination that tee time reservations are made up at least one month in advance.

Size

Callaway Golf Center offers a double-deck driving range with 113 hitting stalls. In addition, the nine-hole par-3 course offers a challenge to players of all levels. The shortest hole on the course is only 105 yards long but poses a real challenge to all golfers. The longest is nearly 200 yards and one of the best par-3 holes in Las Vegas.

Features

At Callaway Golf Center, you can come just to hit golf balls or you can take a lesson from a teaching professional. They offer a 15-minute Quick Fix or you can have a half-day golf lesson. The center also has putting and chipping greens and sand bunkers, all of which you can use to sharpen your game.

Facts

Callaway Golf Center is built on some of the most expensive real estate in Las Vegas. Because it is close to the Strip, it offers breathtaking views of the downtown area from every corner of the property. Furthermore, its par-3 golf course is one of only three in Las Vegas that is lighted for night play.

Expert Insight

From the day it opened, Callaway Golf Center has been one of the most popular golfing destinations in the nation. Not only does it afford the avid golfer every advantage to practice, but it offers a truly unique experience when you play its fully lighted par-3 course, the Divine Nine. Further, you'll find the world's largest supply of Callaway products at the Saint Andrews Golf Shop.
