  • What is GolfLink?
    GolfLink is one of the top golf destinations on the web. We are home to the largest library of golf tips and videos and the most robust golfing community on the Internet.
  • I forgot my username, what should I do?
    You don't need a username to sign in to GolfLink. You just need your email address. Once you sign in, you'll see your username at the top-right hand corner of your screen, just underneath the navigation bar.
  • I forgot my password, what should I do?
    Below any Sign In field on the site, you will see a link that says, "Forgot your password?" Click on it and we will email you your password.
  • How do I change my password?
    Log in to GolfLink and go to the My Account section of the site. Click on the "Change Password" button under Membership details. This will prompt you to change your password.
  • Can I change my username?
    No, once you have selected a username, it cannot be changed.

MyGame FAQs

  • How do I record a round?
    There are two ways you can do this: you can go to the MyGame section of the site and once you're logged in, click the "Record a New Round" link under Recent Rounds.

    Or, you can find the course you played in the Courses section and click on the "Record a Round" link below the course description.
  • I entered information wrong. How do I edit my scores?
    Select the round you'd like to edit in the My Game section. Once selected, you can click on the "Add Details" button to add or edit details.
  • Why can't I find the course I'm looking for in the courses section?
    Our course data is obtained from the National Golf Foundation and is updated approximately once a month. If you cannot find a particular course, it might not be in the National Golf Foundation database, or it has just not made it into our latest updated. You can email customerservice(at)golflink.com with a new course and we will send it to the NGF to verify and then add to our database.
  • How many rounds do I need to record into order to find my handicap?
    You must have a minimum of 5 rounds entered for your handicap to be calculated.
  • Is the MyGame handicap official?
    The MyGame handicap is not an official USGA handicap, however we have gone to great lengths to ensure that it is calculated to be as close to an official USGA handicap as possible.

Subscription FAQs

  • Is GolfLink Free? Will I have to pay for this?
    A GolfLink subscription is $49.95 for a full year. You can join the site for free but won't have access to all of our features. If you want to check out all of GolfLink's features, you can take advantage of our Free Trial offer and access all subscription features for free for 14 days.
  • What GolfLink features are free?
    At GolfLink we do not charge for you to be a member of our community. A GolfLink profile, through which you can write blogs, upload photos and interact with other members via our Forums, is free.

    You can access our golf course information pages and also use our MyGame tracker, through which you can record your rounds and determine your handicap for free.
  • What are the benefits of a paid subscription?
    We're continuing to add features to the website reserved exclusively for our subscribers. Here are just a few of the features you get with a subscription:
    • Access to our collection of more than 1,400 exclusive videos and tips. GolfLink 's library includes videos from top instructors like Hank Haney and Jim McLean as well as full-color articles from Golf Tips Magazine.
    • Access to hole-by-hole maps and yardage books so you can step onto the golf course prepared for your round.
    • Access to detailed golf course scorecards.
    • And more as GolfLink continues to enhance features and look for new ways to serve its subscribers.
  • How much does a GolfLink subscription cost?
    A GolfLink subscription is $49.95 per year.
  • How do I change my billing information?
    You can log into the "My Account" of GolfLink to enter or edit your billing information.
  • How do I change my password?
    You can log into the "My Account" of GolfLink to change your password. Just click the change password button within My Account.
  • How do I cancel my subscription?
    If you choose not to auto-renew your subscription, it will automatically expire when your one year is up.
  • Can I pay by personal check, certified check, money order or PayPal?
    Unfortunately, we do not support these means of payment at this time.
  • I canceled my subscription. Is it possible to get a refund?
    We do not offer refunds for early cancellation.
  • Can I change my username and still have access to subscription features?
    Once you select a username, we cannot change it or transfer your subscription to a different username.
  • If it's a free trial, why do you need my credit card?
    Once your free trial has ended, your membership will be automatically renewed for $49.95 so you can continue using GolfLink without interruption. You will never be charged during your free trial, and you can cancel at any time.
  • How long is the Free Trial offer and when will I be charged?
    The Free Trial is 14 days. Your credit card will not be charged until after the free trial offer period. You will never be charged during your free trial, and you can cancel at any time.
