Minutes away from the sights and sounds of the Las Vegas strip is the Tuscany Golf Club. The course prides itself on having the attributes of a great wine: quality, character and good taste. The course has a par of 72, which offers fun and entertaining value for golfers of all skill levels.

History

The Tuscany Golf Club opened in July 2004. The initial purpose of the course was to offer daily access golf to all players. The end result was a refreshing layout any golfer could enjoy.

Features

The tees on the front side of The Tuscany Golf Club course are elevated to allow players a view of the way to the green. The back nine doesn't include as many of these elevations, offering more challenging holes for advanced golfers. Most of the back nine sits on level ground. However, both the front and back nine require few forced carries. In addition, water is only present on four of the 18 holes.

Another unique feature of Tuscany Golf Club is the ProLink ProStar GPS Systems available on all golf carts.. They allow players to get live sports updates, yardage estimates, news updates and more while on the course.

Function

In addition to golf, the Tuscany Golf Club offers a 31,000-square-foot Old World Tuscan Village. Within the village is a golf shop, a pub and a fine-dining restaurant. The location also offers meeting and banquet amenities. The clubhouse will be finished in late 2008, and features the course's Tuscan theme throughout. Currently, the Tuscan Café allows players to rest before or after their round of golf.

Geography

The beautiful Tuscan environment of the course includes panoramic views of the mountains. Combined with lines of palm trees, it adds up to a breathtaking location for a day of fun and golf. The desert area affords constant sunshine, one reason the course is open throughout the entire year.

Expert Insight

For 2 years, Tuscany has been lauded for offering the "Best Bang for your Buck" by Golf magazine, which deemed the course the best value in the Las Vegas area. While Las Vegas greens fees are some of the most expensive in the country, Tuscany strives to offer great prices to all guests.
