The Legacy Golf Club in Las Vegas was designed by architect Arthur Hills. It's an acclaimed 18-hole course known for its manicured greens and multi-tiered fairways. The 7,233-yard layout provides a great challenge for even a scratch player. But with well-spaced tee boxes available, amateur players can enjoy it as well.

Features

The contouring and sloping fairways remind players of the game's original Scottish links. However, the course's desert setting keeps players in tune with the best of Nevada's natural landscaping.

One interesting feature of the course is its original tee boxes. Each tee box is shaped like a playing-card suit. Hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades are seen throughout the course, which adds a bit of Vegas flair. In addition, the well-known "Devil's Triangle" offers an extreme challenge to all golfers on holes 11, 12 and 13.

Function

In addition to functioning as a challenging golf course, The Legacy Golf Club is also available for events. Meeting planners, incentive buyers, association planners and engaged couples often seek out the location for their big functions.

The club annually hosts the United States Open Qualifying and American Junior Golf Association tournaments. It is the ideal location for these events due to the variety of challenges it presents to players. From the forward tees, it allows for a modest challenge. However, from the back tees, the course is seen as a championship test.

Geography

Located near Las Vegas, The Legacy Golf Club takes full advantage of Nevada's natural beauty. While the greens and fairways are lush and vibrant, the rest of the course fits beautifully into the desert landscaping. With palm trees lining the walkways, this course is simply beautiful for a day on the green, a wedding or a meeting.

Types

Whether you want to schedule a small breakfast for your group or a post-round dinner, The Legacy Golf Club can meet your needs. There is causal dining in the grill and lounge, where guests can experience the beauty of Sunrise Mountain. In addition, group meetings, banquets, weddings or celebrations can be booked and held on the property.
