What Different Types of Parks Are at Disney World?
Sure Disney World is geared towards kids, but their wide range of parks and attractions makes Disney World a vacation destination the whole family can enjoy. The parks within Disney are as diverse as the Disney characters. When you had enough of Mickey, test your game on one of five Disney golf courses.

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is the first park you enter when going to Disney World. Walk into famous castle you see in all the Disney advertisements. Within Magic Kingdom you can meet the famous Disney characters. The park features Adventureland, Frontierland, Main Street USA, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Mickey's Toontown and Tomorrowland.

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is the worlds largest animal theme park! Over 1,700 animals make their home here. Animal Kingdom is dedicated to nature and conservation and is divided into Discovery Island, Camp Minnie and Mickey, Oasis, Africa, Asia, Petting Zoos and Dinoland.

Epcot Center

Epcot Center's distinct look, a futuristic giant silver globe, stands out within Disney. The futuristic look from the outside is the continued theme on the inside. Inside Epcot is Future World; the exhibits showcase the future possibilities of technology, innovation and creation. Epcot also features shops, attractions and cuisine from 11 different countries: Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, United States, Japan, Morocco, France, Canada and United Kingdom. Beer lovers be sure to sample some great foreign beers usually difficult to find in the U.S.

Typhoon Lagoon/Blizzard Beach

Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are the two water parks within Disney World. Escape the Orlando heat in the giant surf pool, raft rides or many waterslides. For the more adventurous types, check out Typhoon Lagoon's Snorkel Shark Reef which has real sharks. You cannot leave Blizzard Beach without taking the opportunity to ride one of the worlds tallest waterslides! Blizzard Beach also has a spectacular one-acre wave pool, raft and toboggan rides, and a children's play area.

Hollywood Studios

The Hollywood themed park is designed like a giant movie set. It's newest attraction, the American Idol Experience, has been a huge hit. Learn about how Disney's movie magic is created. Hollywood Studios has blockbuster movie and top television show attractions. Don't miss the Disney character parades throughout the day.

Disney Golf

Play where the pros play at Magnolia Golf Course and Palm Golf Course. Both play host to the PGA Tour's Children's Miracle Network Classic. Magnolia and Palm both feature nearly 100 bunkers and many water hazards to navigate. Osprey Ridge Golf Course is a real southern gem with waste bunkers, natural vegetation and wetlands providing beauty and challenge. Lake Buena Vista Golf Course hosted PGA, LPGA and USGA events. Spectacular lake views and the daunting island green on the 7th hole will make Lake Buena Vista one of your new favorites. The 9-hole par 36 Oak Trail golf course is designed to be walking and family friendly. The woodlands, water and rolling greens will challenge all skill levels. Lake Buena Vista, Magnolia and Palm Golf Course all earned a 4-star Golf Digest rating, while Osprey Ridge Golf Course took home a 4 1/2-star Golf Digest rating.

Industry Experts Debate What Makes an Iron Easy to Hit
by Mike Chwasky
What makes an iron easy to hit? It's a question golfers and designers have been asking since the days of the Nicoll Cleek and Forrester Mashie. When it comes to drivers and woods, it's not nearly as mysterious. Big, light club heads, long graphite shafts and modern materials are easy to spot, and their functions are relatively obvious. Yes, some have longer blades or more offset, but for the most part, irons don't look that much different than they did 25 years ago.
