Thistle,You will enjoy Carnoustie. I had the opportunity to play Carnoustie last year. Found it to be one of the most challenging courses I have ever played. Caddie is a must. Not so much for the bag, but for the course saavy and the greens...oh the greens! Keep your fingers up the wind is not up that day. I would also encourage you to look at some of the lesser known, but very nice courses in the area like Scotscraig (An open qualifier just 15 minutes down the road) and my favorite just south of St Andrews is Crail (two courses available Balconie & Dumfernie). You can find more info on a website called historical golf links. They have some real good prices. All the Best, Rick (Kaper1) |

Hey Thistle, talking about the gorse, what a wicked plant that is. Stick your arm in one of those bushes to grab a ball and it will resemble a midevil blood letting. I lowered my blood alcohol level a full point that day. Sounds like a good deal, I'm sure you willhave loads of fun. I'm due to book something soon. |
