Hi Taudano. The only suggestion I would feel comfortable making is to ask for a gift certificate to a local club shop i.e Golf Galaxy etc. instead of the clubs themselves. You should get the swing analysis and club fitting done when you buy your clubs that way you know you're starting out with the right gear, sized to fit you. Now the way I did it was, I played with a set of borrowed clubs, fell in love with the game and found a set of used Pings at a garage sale. They lasted me about four years and I still wish I had them so I'm not a very good example. Congrats on the nuptials- i married off two daughters this year so I am burned out on wedding ceremonies myself- good news is that all new in-laws are avid golfers so we played a LOT, much to the brides dismay.
