I have never blogged in my life, but i would like to take the opportunity to thank this great website and give a heads-up to new golfers. I've been playing for almost 2 yrs, and i absolutely stunk up the course. I play with the same group of guys who started the same time as i did, and their game was progressing. After finding this website and viewing many of the tips and videos, i have to say me swing is 200% better. I was literally on the verge of giving up on the game and just selling my clubs an stick to other sports. My game has picked up and i feel that im headed in the right direction. So for those of you who are just like me that want to give up....DONT!. Keep going at it and take as many tips as you can. GOOD LUCK!

This is a great post. When it all comes down, we just gotta keep swinging. There is no other game like golf! We should just have fun, compete only against ourselves and the course, celebrate every good shot, and hold our follow-through pose like a pro. Every time we address the ball, we've become asteroids in the stellar galaxy of golf, with a place in orbit all our own. Think of that: hundreds of years of history, the drama of the modern competition, the details and debates of technology, the intricate science of the swing -- now we're a part of all that. Well, maybe all that is too romantic and maudlin, so we can break it down even more. Think of hitting that purest mid-iron high and long, and landing soft one foot from the pin -- how's that feel? That's golf! So you're exactly right -- "keep going at it"!
