Hole 3: Par 2
So,
now we get to hole 3. Hole 3 was a straight shot that used 2 cubicle
dividers as a ramp that was raised in the center. A rug was put in
front of the ramp to slow down the ball as well as a couple of metal
rods, angled to form a 'V', towards the ramp.
The best shot on
the hole was made by L. S., she managed a hole in one...with a WILD
shot! That ball was all over the place like Ricochet Rabbit, yet somehow managed to land right in the hole! That's not her, BTW, that's just the best shot showing the hole.
Hole 4: Par 2.
Hole
4 was awesome! This hole was the site of a bit of over zealous putting.
Mr. M here put a bit too much oomph into his swing and….
I
have no idea how fast that ball was going, but since speed was combined
with a nicely curved wall...well, it went UP! I vote that this was one
of the great putts of the day. Note the nice golf ball shape dent, at
the end of my putter, in the ceiling.
Here
is a shot of the hole in question. Amazing what can be created with
office equipment and supplies, eh? I managed to get a hole in 2 on this
one putting similarly to Em; banking off the 'wall' there (the site of
the upwardly mobile ball), and found that the lighter the touch on the
putt the better!

Well you can see we're all busy having fun every day instead of working on improving the site. ;)This was our very first "office golf" party and it was a lot of fun so hope there are many more to come. |
