Greetings Golflink Readers!

I’ve noticed that some of the Titleist Pro V 1’s I’ve found look shiny and new, and others have an “Ivory” appearance to them; even after being washed. 

So, I’ve been wondering . . . . . 

Does anybody have an opinion, experience, information, or a reference on any effects of the outdoor elements (rain, mud, pond water, wet leaves, UV/Sun, hot, cold) that may adversely weather a golf ball and its performance ?? 

Or is a golf ball ready to use without reservation even if it isn’t fresh out of the box ??
