Been trying to get information on how to start competing in long drive competitions. My husband adverages over 350 yards when he tees off with his driver and has over a 150 mhr swing speed. He is looking for some advice on how to get started. We were at a gold expo a few years ago and one of the pro's there really thought he would do a great job at it. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

You might want to post this question in the Golf Tips forum. Am sure some people will dive in to try and answer that there.

Forums are a kind of interactive conversation area and a great place to ask questions or offer advice. Blogs are like personal diaries. Some people may read a journal entry and comment on it as feedback but blogs are not really open-ended on-going conversations with multiple people.

well you must know about the Re Max World Drive competition and they have local qualifiers all around the USA. the site below is there forum site and I think one there home page it list the places they are... I have one out here and I didn't sign up for last season thinking at 50 I might not be able to get in.. in my age group the winning drive for our area was 270yds. I could have beat that guy, but when you only have 5 shots to put it into that grid out there, its daunting how easy it is to choke. and of course the entry is like 125.00 too. well good luck to you guys and I hope this helps you.....
