tiger woods,
majors,
greatest player of all timeif tiger woods stopped playing today, would he still be considered the greatest golfer of all time? i think many would say no, since he hasnt eclipsed nicklaus with majors (20 to 17). i think he's got nearly 80 PGA Tour victories but still trails Sam Snead? so here's the question - if tiger quit today would he be the "greatest" golfer of all time? i say yes, but that's from the perspective of "most impactful" to the game of golf. i dont think nicklaus ever had that opportunity because there just wasnt enough prize money at the time and not enough TV coverage. i will say that when tiger came on tour, he made it a point to make a splash. that certainly helped ratings. i remember people hating tiger when he first came out because he was so brash and disruptive to the existing game. but now we relish his fireworks and he has certainly attracted the masses, which i think is good for golf. therefore, i think tiger woods is currently the 'greatest golfer of all time'. cant wait to see what he comes up with this year!

Golf balls lost at Lost Canyons,
Golf balls lost at Lost Canyons Golf ClubI've lost so many golf balls at Lost Canyons in one round that I subsequently played every round with RANGE BALLS. Wow. Not good. If I had to estimate, I would say I lost 8 balls in one round at Lost Canyons up in Simi Valley. That place is tough...!
