Try a hard distance ball like a topflite then try a soft spinner like a lady pecept if you feel a difference and dont see a huge distance change then pick a soft ball that spins. If the loss in distance bugs you then stick to distance balls every brand has both

i was looking this exact issue up yesterday. some good advice i found was if you suck and shoot over 90 play the cheapest ball including recycled to save yourself money because you will lose a lot of balls.
