Well, there is a lot more to it than just the wrist.. When the lead wrist leads (suppination) many fundamentally solid things must have happened in the correct sequence. It starts with a setup that enables your lower body to aggressively start your downswing-- the weight shift or "post" to your front leg while your shoulders are still turned back.
If you can do "turn, plant, swing" as Shawn Clement describes the transition weight shift-- then the next requirement is that your arms be synchronized with your chest, your turning torso actually powering your downswing (and not just arms)-- and that the golf club be in control of your lead side arm and hand.
Then, and only then can you even begin to think about leading your downswing with your lead wrist, suppinating,-- and "trapping" the ball like really good players do.
If you are trying to PUSH your golf club with your dominant hand, high handicap stuff, forget suppinating and trapping. Your clubhead is already decelerating and rising again by the time the clubhead reaches the middle of your stance-- and of course when our weight stays back it is impossible to keep the clubhead accelerating through the ball position and make a long divot in front of the ball.
The lead side must lead--
I suggest lessons. First get good fundamentals, then think about this very advanced concept of suppination---And then weeks or months of drills to ingrain a correct golf swing. It won't be easy but it will be worth it.
