OK.... Whats your BAG or BAGS of choice,
are you happy with it or what would you BUY if money was no object...

I have an Ogio stand bag and I use it 90% of the time...
its getting a bit small for all my stuff, but works OK.....
good pockets, but the top could be bigger too I feel...
then I have a Ping old school hoofer too,
the hoofer I use sometimes on par 3's....

the reason I ask is I had my heart set on getting a Ping Tour Bag.....
I know......
I found one at golfmart on sale, just like I want.... my buddy laughed...

WHOA BIG GUY......
why do you want a huge bag like that,
its going to look funny in your push cart...
and on a golf cart, there's pockets you can't get too...
the only thing its good for is for your Caddy to carry,
and come to think of it, you don't have one....lol

so now I'm in the market for a cart bag maybe,
with the pockets all on one side and maybe has
better features than a tour bag.

so,
whats your bag, happy with it or
what would you get next if you had a choice....????

I like a carry bag with 14 dividers. I actually put it on my trolley but they are easier to set up and store. My cart bag was a fight to get in my locker.

ps

the more pockets / space the more useless S*** you carry. My Father in Law once complained his bag was getting heavy and proceeded to remove 84 (yes 84!) balls that he had found over the months!

i agree, less is more. Living in nyc i have to take public trans to my course therefore i do like it when the bag i use has a side pocket big enough to fit my shoes in. I also love the idea of having an insulated pocket to keep my drink cold. Other than that, just give me room for a couple ball markers, some balls, and some tee's and i'm good. Oh yeah, i like the backpack straps. when i walk, i carry my bag so the backpack style is great.

I have the Nike Slingshot Stand bag that my wife gave me for my birthday two years ago. Once I cleaned out the 29 sleeves of golf balls in it, it's actually pretty light. I wish it had dividers on it as the clubs tend to clump together. I also have a Burton Cart bag that I received free when I paid off my life membership dues with the PGA Tour Partners Club. I love it. It's light enough to carry, 14 club dividers, plenty of pockets, and personalized with my name on the side. I just wish it had a beverage cooler.......Now I'm just trying to talk her into letting me buy that nice LSU cart bag I saw at the PGA Tour Superstore.

i just picked up a new cart bag by under armour at sports athourity. it has a huge cooler pocket and a bunch of other huge pockets with pockets inside of those. a bag i could live in but it cost $230. also it has a internal shoe pocket so now i can carry my shoes in the bag. i saw it and tried to look it up on every web site with out any lick on finding it. so i bought it thinking i might be the only one with it. my other bag like new went to my son.

of course it was 230 bucks, it was under armour. As a personal trainer and athlete I was wearing under armor back in 2001 when nobody but athletes had even heard of it. Now everytime i go to the gym I laugh my #@!$ off when i see fat 45 year old men and women wearing tight under armour with their bellies and fupa's bulging out!
by the way, every golf bag i've ever used has a pocket that can pretty easily fit your shoes in. Granted it may prevent you from carrying your rain gear but i never understood the need for a "shoe bag" I'm in the minority as one of the few people who takes public transportation to a golf course. for the other 98 percent of golfers that drive to a golf course, why do you need a shoe bag? why dont you just put the shoes in the trunk of your car and leave them there?

i used to just wear my shoes to the course. But the shoe bag is a nice novlety. No real reason for it I guess but still nice to have and still plenty of room left with the shoes inside.

My wifes early birthday present was a new Bag Boy revolver bag. It is great for her since she pulls the covers off her clubs the minute she puts it on the cart and all during the round I had to listen to her clubs clanking together. The size and weight of the bag was not a factor since her age and physical condition and a knee replacement she is unable to walk 18 holes so she is always on a cart. This bag has numerous pockest and the revolver feature is neater than I expected it to be, clubs always ready. I was suprised at the price, only $136.00 at club after member discount. Since most of the time I take a cart with her I am hinting to her how nice her new bag is.
