Ok, how many of you have a swing trainer
or have a golf aid of some type...
which one and do you like it...
heres mine.

Medicus 5 iron and Driver...
this is my swing trainer..
I love the tempo that it gives me, and keeps my
swing on plane and my wrist where they should be.
I can even hit shots with it but don't very often.
the driver was my 1st one and then I got the 5 iron.
if you had to buy just one, I would buy the 5 iron..

Shag Bag......
I have one with only good balls in it...
all titleist, callaway no range or cheap ones.
this way I know and can see my chips and ball action...
also balls have sharpie marks around them to see the
roll to if I wanted to putt. but I use new balls for
that usually...

my last item is a CD....
I use an old CD to put my ball on and then stand over
with my putter to make sure I'm over the ball correctly.
if you can see your face your good... its easy and cheap.
mostly this help me with others to make them see there
set up and make sure...

all I have is a swing groover. Its not so much a "training aid" to me as it is for getting the feel of a swing back, basically a quick shot of hitting some golf balls without having to go to the range. If I wanna work on something with my grip or in my swing and want to feel it without seeing the result, I will do it on the groover.

I have a slice correction trainer that worked wonders for my iron game. I never did try it out with my driver. Whenever I feel like I'm not hitting shots the way I want them I take it out to the range for practice. I also have a putting mat with automatic ball return. Great for indoor use.

Hi Blue crush,

Training aids are good but you need to find the right ones. Being a caddy on tour I see training aids come and go all the time, but there are 5 or so I see used by multipal players and have been around for a long time. They are the leader board, putting arch, laser line putter, balance board, and fat putter grip. The fat putter grip isn't really a training aid but a lot of players have started using it. If you want to see pictures of these items go to http://www.pga-golf-tour-caddy-guide.com/Golf-Swin g-Aids.html .

keep swinging,

Ive had one now for over a year...
I made my 1st one, and then Winn came out with
a really good one, and its on my 2 putters right now..
that was huge.. I agree.
also you have seen I'm sure how exacting they have gotten
on lining up the grip square to the face of the putter.
both putters I got were not square.. it makes a difference.

that medicus for me is purely a tempo guild for me at the
range. I don't trust its swing plane 100%, but its close.
I say that cause once you master the wrist #@!$, you can
alter the plane a bit... but for tempo for me, its awsome.

I'm even amazed sometimes on a tue/wen practice round on
the range what pros will pull out of there bag...lol
some have the strangest aids I've ever seen, but hey if
it gets them on track, then use it....

Ever hear of a fingerloop? It was at the P.G.A. show in Orlando. It's online at www.fingerloop.net A simple device which locates the club in the fingers which helps turning over your hands resulting in less slicing.

I'm a big fan of heavy clubs. The momentus line of heavy clubs are really great. Master Grip also makes comparable products that perform the same task.

These are great to warm up as well as develop muscles and flexibility with regular use.
