Spent a little time in the shop yesterday, in a hope to beat the gas prices a little I have made a mount for my Harly Electraglide to carry my bag. works well, but is not beautiful, I will be making a nicer looking version as soon as I get more test miles on this one and decide on a final design.
I own a business that sales motorcycle intercoms and wireless headset systems, www.wirelessbiker.com . I love golf nd motorcycles so much, maybe I should add a line of these to my site in the future.

Later Spike[=====>
Honda Goldwing next, then the world, LOL
any ideas ??

Thanks Crush for the kind words. I got one more practice ace a few weeks ago at the Pin Hi range, need one on the course now. The marriage thing is working out real well, not hurting the game too bad. I took the clubs out for a ride to the practice range today, the rack worked well and got many looks along the way and many questions in the parking lot. LOL I may be on to something here with this carrier caddy. Building a nicer looking one monday, have a idea to streamline and beautify. I have to get more buckles and strap material.

Thanks Spike [======>

2 thoughts come to mind

1. You definately need to research to see if anyone else has done this already because there is definately a market for it. perhaps not a huge but if I drove a bike I think I'd love to be able to cruise on it on a nice day to the golf course. Just not sure how many guys are into bikes and golf.

2. Screw paying a cart fee, i'd just drive my harley around the course! some of the gas powered carts at my muni are practically as loud! besides, who's gonna be the one to tell the guy on the harley that its cart path only???

No Way....lol

the one thing if I had a comment would be to
round off the arms of flat stock where the
straps go into, the corners could cause a tear
or even worse catch your arm and scratch you and
have you seen copper pipe insulation... it comes
split and has adheasive on it after you get it on.
cost like 5.00 for 6ft and will cushion the bag too...
other than that I love it...

PS, I got your PM and will get back to you...
I been popping in and out lately...lol

I ride a bike, and I would definitely like to be able to ride it to the course. Great idea.

Wheyface, what kind of bike do you ride?
I measured up a honsa goldwing today looks like quite the challenge, the new version of the harley one is at the powdercoat shop. He does chrome, and ask if I might want them chromed, hmmmmm he is quoting me a price for chrome when I pick up the powdercoated one later this week.
Had several people see the first prototype I am still using for now and have shown great interest, have to decide on all the features and price next,

and find a name for it that is memorable, and catchy!!

Crush, I beveled the edges in the new one and have a strip of armaflex style material I am trying also to cushion. I have picked up more strap material that has latches like on a golf cart, using one on top and one bottom for security.
also adjusted a little further in toward to center to give better mirror access, balance is great on my big bike, do not know how a smaller one might react yet.
