I have enjoyed the first few days of my 2 week trial. However, I was a little annoyed when I saw that the 49.95 for a 1 year subscription had already been deducted from my account. I do not think this is a very good business practice. If someone decides to cancel, are they refunded right away? I think waiting until the trial period ends to pay the amount is a better way to go. In fact, it's such a great idea I think I should get a free lifetime subscription.

Hello Johnny_Edwin,
We're glad you are enjoying your two week trial and sorry to hear that we have annoyed you. The $49.95 is not charged until after the free trial offer, however, an authorization of $49.95 is conducted at the time you start your free trial, which is probably what you are noticing.

This is valuable feedback, thank you for submitting. Our team will look into making this more clear through messaging on our website.

Thank you,
taudano

Dear Sirs,

Please let me know how i can cancel your subscription. I thought i was registering for Costa Mesa golf course, but instead i was tricked into giving my credit account number for Golf Link. THis is very bad business practice. Please do not take out 49.95 from my credit card!

thank you,

I had the same problem. I registered for the trail period on July 12. I cancelled on July 22 but on July 27th my subscription was automatically renewed ang I was charged $50.

So far GolfLink has not returned any of my emails and their phone number doesnt work.

Hello and thanks for the feedback. I assume in your post above you mean to say June instead of July...?

I'm not sure why your attempt to cancel the free trial did not work. Please use the telephone number or e-mail address on our contact page (link at the bottom of this page) to reach us on Monday, and we will rectify this for you. I will also mention your case specifically to our customer service department.

Thanks for participating on the site, and please continue to take advantage of our many free features!

Hi there, reichlr. I am the Customer Support for Golflink and I pulled up your account information and this shows as a refunded account on July 3rd. It is never our intention to charge anyone for something they are not using so I must have noted the inactivity of the account in order to have refunded it. We want people to use the service, that is why we offer it on a trial basis to start with. That way you can review this and make sure the site suits your needs!
