"Tools a craftsman do not make". I really wish I had a ton of money I could waste on a law suite. The point of the law suite would be to take on all these club manufacturers who persist in saying "MY CLUB WILL GIVE YOU 10 MORE YARDS" or "MY CLUB IS THE WORLDS LONGEST DRIVER GUARANTEED". If their club will give me 10 more yards on my drives, then why isn't every professional out there using it. I would purchase one of those mechanical monsters that hits golf balls, and get one driver from every company out there. Then I would hit the same ball over and over again with each club and actually see who's driver hits the farthest. I'll lay you odds there'll be inches difference in a large percentage of them. Whats really interesting is my Big Bertha 454, when it first hit the market it was almost 400 bucks, one year later its down to 250, and now you can find one for 145. WHY, if its a brand new club, its the same now as it was 2 years ago. The 145 its selling for now is still probably a 200 percent mark up from manufacturing costs. The problem with golf equipment is not the manufacturer, its the sap who's trying to buy his game. For this guy the Wal-Mart special will go just as far as the Callaway, but try to tell that to the new golfer. I don't abstain myself from this diatribe, I bought into it, gads we're easily lead.

It's all in the marketing of the clubs. They come up with a new catchphrase every couple of years, and make us think that we're not getting top MOI, or COR, or whatever the current catchphrase is.

Cobra HS 9, 10.5deg reg Cobra graphite shaft.
Nike Ignite 460 9.5 deg. stiff Fukijura shaft.
Orlimar trimetal 3 wd, 15 deg,-hey it only cost $10 at goodwill.
Mizuno 16.5 and 21 deg fairway woods, reg graphite shaft.
Mizuno MP 25 irons 4-pw, reg steel shafts
Clevelend CG 12 52 deg wedge mid bounce
ttileist Vokey 54 deg SW, high bounce
Hogan 56 deg SW low bounce.
Hogan 60 deg lob wedge low bounce
Red X cameron putter or Ping (old) whichever is behaving. Curently neither are.
Any premium ball-proV, HX Tour, Nike one Platinum, Hogan etc. Just not all 4 in the bag on the same day. Use NXT's when weather is cold as premium balls do not perform well in under 50 deg temps.
Plan on getting a Clevelend CG 12, 58 deg, high bounce (3 dot) SW.
Depending on the course and whether walking or riding, I carry anywhere from 8-14 of the above implements of ignorance.
It's interesting to see what everyone carrys. Good post.

You don't have ALL them in your bag. You would give a caddie a Hernia or Coronary

No 14 is the limit, 15 is cheating. I think folks that play course with a lot of rocks in the woods or desert should have a designated beater club for club #15. I'll take a beater club if I'm carrying less that 14.

Cleveland Hi Bore driver
Kunanan 5 wood Its old and heavy but I hit it a ton and well
Top Flight Tour Irons 1- pw
Hogan Sand wedge
Odyssey putter ( pre Callaway black insert)

I am of the mind that if I can hit my average clubs well and proper then I will buy new gear. I have had the Irons putter and wedge for 8 years.
The Driver is New this year because I have been hitting my driver well that was my reward.
When I hit my Irons consistantly well Ill replace those and so on. But the Putter and the wedge they just get better with age
