You are in a casual relationship with a new man and his birthday is next month? Heck Christmas will be too soon and a serious gift must to be thought about? There's a big difference between the right gifts for a casual couple versus a monogamous couple. Learn the different relationship stages and the right gift for each stage. Here are some tips for success:
The Casual Couple
In a casual relationship you need to prove you know something about your partner based on the limited time you've been together. Buying new skis for someone who hates the cold is a surefire relationship killer. Go for something simple that shows you know their taste –a CD of their favorite music, or a golf iron set for his handicap.
The Semi-Serious Couple
Once you've had "the talk," it's time to send a positive signal about the potential longevity of your relationship together. The best way to communicate interest is to book something far in advance with your partner. This shows them that you're committed to spending the birthday or holiday with them. Tickets to a show or a romantic dinner and a movie would be a great move.
The Monogamous Couple
Once you've had "the talk," it's time to send a positive signal about the potential longevity of your relationship together. The best way to communicate interest is to book something far in advance with your partner. This shows them that you're committed to spending the birthday or holiday with them. Tickets to a show or a romantic dinner and a movie would be a great move.
The Monogamous Couple
If there is one time to blow the budget, it's the relationship stage. We're not talking about spending so much you need to take out a second mortgage on your home. But venturing into jewelry or even a vacation together shows your commitment.
The Engaged Couple
Once you're engaged it means you plan to spend the rest of your lives together. This is the perfect time to buy a gift that signifies the road ahead. Examples include a keepsake for a potential new home together or a sentimental scrapbook to keep future memories.
The Married Couple
When you've been together for years, think sentimental and you can't go wrong. How about a fun date where you first met? Or book the same room where you spent your honeymoon. Bringing back those memories of the early relationship will help rekindle a spark.
The Couple with Kids
Give your partner the gift of time away from parental responsibility by hiring a babysitter or asking a friend/relative to watch the kids. This will give you time to remember what it was like before your bundle of joy arrived.

Review on Ping G10 Driver
The 460cc G10 driver is engineered with a cast body and fully machined face from high-grade 6-4 titanium. The 460cc club head features a larger profile with a taller face and deeper crown that produces a higher moment-of-inertia for greater forgiveness and increased ball velocity.
Using finite element analysis driven by a Cray Supercomputer, company engineers optimised the crown, sole and face structure interaction to ensure maximum energy transfer to the ball.
Thinner crown and face designs provided discretionary weight which was positioned inside the club head to lower the centre of gravity for reduced spin and higher launch. PING’s patented variable face thickness technology produces a thin, highly responsive hitting surface for increased ball velocity and greater consistency across the face.
· 460cc titanium
·Larger perimeter head size increases MOI
·Taller face profile and deeper crown
·Thin, variable face geometry
·Internal weight pad positions CG for low spin, high launch

At impact the clubs feel incredibly solid and the ball really flies off the face with plenty of zip.

Irons make up about 8-9 of the clubs in our bags, so finding the right set for you can have an considerable improvement on your game. The iron is truly the staple of your bag. The ability to control and shape your iron shots is what will define your game.
There are three main factors that need to be taken into consideration when choosing the right golf iron set. That is the quality of the club heads, the grip of the irons and the shaft type and length of the irons.
Typically, the good quality golf club heads are made of materials such as titanium, brass and steel. Plastic or wooden club heads are a big no-no if you want to hit the ball well. A good club head will give you optimum control over the power and direction of your shots. There are also different head sizes that can be chosen. There is the oversized head (usually used by beginner golfers), midsized head and a shaft head.
The two main types of shaft are steel or graphite. Steel shafts make for a club with a heavier feel, and they don't have as many options for shaft flex, but are the most durable. Graphite shafts are a lot easier to get the flex you want with, but are not as durable and don't give that heavy feel some people like.
The best way to choose is to go and try out variations of both and see which you like so you can find the one with the best 'feel' to it for your playing style.
The shaft flex affects the balls trajectory and is linked to how fast you swing your club. As you swing your club you will get a certain amount of bend, so choosing the right stiffness of shaft ensures that the club is at the optimal shape when it connects with the ball.
Selecting the right iron set is considered as the basic step towards improvement of game. Iron Sets are available in different sizes and finishes so you can choose an Iron Set according to your style.

Ive got the X-22's from www.golfwholesaleonline.com and I can tell you that they are a FANTASTIC set of irons! I think they are quite good for senior golfers.
They are what are known as a game improvement iron and what this means is that they help your game dramatically if you dont have enough time to practice to develop the perfect swing.
Basically they have a bigger center of gravity, with more peripheral weighting to help keep the clubface square at impact making your shots fly longer and straighter.
since Ive had these clubs ive cut 8 strokes off my handicap from 22 to 14. And its still dropping. Even shots that would have normally shot off to the right seem to come off straight and with only a tiny sacrifice in distance!
The only thing that I would say that is a little bit negative about the clubs is that I dont like how the club looks at address. Basically for my own personal taste they are a little bit chunky...but this is to be expected because they are a game improvement iron!
