I'm hoping to get in a round this week. My wife has an apt this week and that may challenge my desire to go out and play. One of our regulars out here has requested I go with him. He, too, is a beginner and we're hoping not to slow one or another down.

That and we'd have our PGA teaching pro right along with us. Almost a private tutor. It's a great golf life.

We've got the books filled today with the adult clinic starting here soon (which I always try to attend and get in a free lesson) and then our first weekend with more than 2 scheduled lessons. We had someone stop by at 8:30 this morning! That means I'll have to start getting up earlier, but that's just fine with me.

Sure I'm in the golf business, but I'm also a golfer. I'd be happy to go golf with anyone in the area who would be able to put up with a beginner, which as I've found is not too many golfers.

So in the meanwhile, I'll keep practicing and inviting everyone who can to join me.
