It gets harder to write these especially as I have been hittin' the ball real well. I am very disappointed in my play so far... I expected to do more than this. I've never been on any major tour at all, so this is a different experience. We get treated great, fans are awesome. The courses are great, really tough, and the greens are way faster than mini tour greens... night and day. My outlook is I am going to let the chips fall where they may, or the ball roll where it may, and keep playing hard.

This past weekend at the AT&T Classic was a rollercoaster, a wet freakin' rollercoaster. We should have never been playing out there on Thursday afternoon, and it upset me a great deal. I made a triple bogey on the first hole and I was #@!$ed. But I did bounce back only to get on that coaster again and roll around for a nice ride... or rather a rough ride!

GolfLink community question from John Caricari of Alburtis, Pennsylvania:

What score do I need to be a legit player? I've never taken part in any kind of competitive golf. I believe I'm good enough and wondered what kind of tournaments I should initially take part in. Thank you for your time.

John, thanks for writing in. I'd love to know how old you are, but the best place to look for competitive golf is your local golf association, state golf association or PGA section to see what tournaments are available. If you can't beat everyone in your circle of who you play with all the time, then keep working 'til you do. If you can't beat everyone in your city, then keep working 'til you can. If you can't beat everyone in your state... you know the drill. Remember, have fun with it! I have to keep reminding myself of that even after four missed cuts...
