I thought my golf season was over due to the changing weather conditions, but I was wrong I may have a few times left before the season in this part of the country is done and we all plan our trips to the south. well blessed with great weather I went out and played 9 holes It was cool and a little windy but the sun shine was great. also I did feel alittle rusty because I am that way if I don't practice something every day I loose my stroke, I guess I am not one of thoughs naturals. Ill Visualize my swing and I have a small putting thing I practice but it is a short game put due to the area I have to work with but it works sometimes. Well I had a 45 for the 9 holes which is not bad for me. I have a terrible slice but if I try to correct it I hook the ball, in addition to that, I had trouble with a sand trap on hole 3 that got to me alittle.
Well I have been discussing golf and my game at work with a co-worker or should I say workers. The work guy I work with is a better golfer than me by far, he worked at a course for 3 years. I try to pick his brains alot about equipment and techniques. Well last night I tryed to get a better technique for chipping over a tree. He gave me some pointers about the angle of the club and angle of the wrist and to get under the ball and hit down more to get more of a popup reaction. Which I beleive mite be my problem I am thinking the club will do all the work I guess I am getting lazy
Lately I have been working on my golf swing, my extension and follow though have been bad so I don't feel I am getting the distance and accuracy that I want. A conversation I had with a co-worker gave me some advice on the angle of my wrist at the club and ball contact position so I have really been working on this.
