Well, I've been using an R7 SuperQuad for the past six months and I got somewhat consistent with it, but it is a higher spin club than I would want off the tee.  Workability isn't something I desire in a driver, I'd much rather have a club that just hits it straight because length isn't a problem for me.  As some of you have read, I'm getting married in a couple of weks, and me and all my boys went to Vegas last wekend to celebrate my birthday/bachelor wekend.  Right before a round of golf at the Wynn with all my friends, my three groomsmen presented me with a brand new Tour Burner Driver!  The exact club I've been wanting to get...perfect gift.

I didn't use it that day, but I've been working with it on the simulator trying to get the hang of the club.  It's much bigger than my SuperQuad, and it's got quite the ass end in comparison.  It took me a few swings to learn how to come through the hitting zone without bouncing it on the ground, but I'm really starting to get it down.

There's always changes you have to make in your swing with a new driver and this club is no exception, but the beautiful thing is that I don't seem to want to slice with this club, but rather I tend to draw/hook off the tee, which I've seemed to be able to tone down by using a slightly weaker grip...now I just need to find some consistency with it to be able to replicate the good swings and I'll be off and running!

Basically, the new Tour Burner is an absolute BEAST!
