Specs
At 53 inches long in its full, expanded size, the High Roller is more than large enough to house a full-sized cart bag. It's heavier than average at more than 14 pounds, but much of that can be attributed to its heavy-duty molded plastic base with six in-line skate wheels. Zippers run the full length of the bag on both sides for easy access to your travel gear and easy loading and unloading. Two large exterior pockets allow for extra storage.
Wheels/Rolling/Orientation
The High Roller features an unusual design feature: a flat bottom with six wheels that allows you to roll the bag through the airport in either an upright position or over on two wheels and one side like most comparable bags. The biggest benefit to this is being able to roll the bag without lifting, carrying or pulling any part of it. The biggest drawback is that the heavier plastic bottom structure supporting the wheels weighs quite a bit more.
Collapsible
When fully expanded, the High Roller measures 53 inches tall by 12 inches by 17 inches. When empty, the soft sides of the bag fold easily into itself to only 15 inches tall--easy for storage.
Protection Guarantee
IZZO claims this bag offers hard-shell protection and soft-shell convenience, and the company is willing to back that claim up. Their Club Protection Guarantee states that if any of your club shafts are broken when traveling on an airplane in the High Roller, IZZO Golf will have the club or clubs re-shafted at no expense to you.
Price
At about $180 suggested price from the manufacturer, the High Roller is slightly higher in price compared to other bags in the category. The bag can be found at $150 or less through some online retailers and pro shops.
