Las Vegas is a destination for golfers who want to play a round or two by day and enjoy some nightlife after the sun sets. Some golfers prefer to get to bed early to prepare for the next day, and that is OK, too. There are plenty of daytime activities available as well. One of the most popular places for golfers to stay is along the Las Vegas Strip in the Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino.

Accommodations

Caesars Palace Hotel features six types of guest rooms and suites: Forum Tower rooms, deluxe rooms, premium rooms, industry suites, fantasy suites and penthouses. The Forum Tower rooms feature one king- or two queen-sized beds, two LCD televisions, a desk space and leather chair, and walk-in shower. The deluxe rooms also include one king or two queen beds, as well as marble bathrooms and a spa tub. The premium rooms offer one king or two queen beds, an LCD television, a dual marble bathroom, as well as a dual shower with a spa tub and bidet. The industry suites feature four layouts with as many as two bedrooms. Each features a living rooms and "plush high roller accommodations," according to the Caesars website. There are four fantasy suites available, which offer a high-class, resort-type experience. Penthouses include as many as four bedrooms and an abundance of amenities, such as pianos, sculptures and fountains, and the penthouses, according to Caesars Palace, "are quite simply the most elegant, luxurious and unbelievable accommodations that Caesars Palace has to offer."

Gambling

The Caesars Palace Casino spans more than 129,000 square feet and includes table games, slots, poker, a race and sports book, and keno. Table games range from blackjack to baccarat, craps to Spanish 21, while the slot machines range from 1 cent to $500. The casino also features an 8,500-square-foot poker room and a 6,000-square-foot tournament area. The Caesars Palace Race Book includes 65 private booths, with each sporting a 12-inch television, as well as six 12-foot-by-15-foot television screens and 12 plasma televisions that are 50 inches apiece.The Caesars Palace Sports Book features the same number and sizes of televisions, as well as 140 seats with 12-inch televisions as each table.

Dining

Caesars Palace includes 13 restaurant options, and golfers can get everything from a quick meal to a fancy, sit-down feast. The Augustus Cafe, for example, is open 24 hours a day and serves food ranging from breakfast to dinner items. Another restaurant is Beijing Noodle No.9, which is a noodle shop. There is a buffet at Caesars Palace, as well as fine dining options, such as Bradley Ogden, Mesa Grill and Restaurant Guy Savoy.

Pools

The pools at Caesars Palace grab people's attention. Known as one of the best places in Las Vegas to swim, Caesars Palace features the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, which includes six swimming pools. The pool area has more than 1,700 deck chairs on which to lay out. Otherwise, there are more than 40 cabanas available for rent. Entertainment

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is home to a variety of entertainment options. Well-known celebrities---including Bette Midler, Cher and Jerry Seinfeld---perform at Ceasars. Caesars Palace also includes six nightclubs, bars and lounges. A disk jockey provides the soundtrack for the PURE Nightclub, for example, while a laid-back atmosphere and live music are the calling cards of the Galleria Bar.

Preferred Golfing

Caesars Palace guests receive preferred access to Cascata Golf and Rio Secco Golf, which are highly ranked courses in the Las Vegas area. The Las Vegas National Golf Club, two miles from the Strip, is an affordable option for golfers of all skill levels.
