Club Covers
The Big Bertha II line of Japanese head covers was produced to cover a number of golf clubs. The Big Bertha II Japanese head covers can be purchased to cover the driver, strong 3-wood, 4-wood, 5-wood, 7-wood, 9-wood and 11-wood.
Style and Design
The Big Bertha II line of Japanese head covers features a rich blue and silver color pattern, complete with a cushioned feel for the club head, and a soft fabric that runs up the club shaft a bit. Also, the head covers are embroidered with the Great Big Bertha II logo on the club head as well as "Great Big Bertha" on the piece of fabric that runs up the club shaft.
Pricing and Availability
Seeing how the entire line of Big Bertha II head covers has been discontinued in Japan and the United States, these head covers are not widely available in golf outlets or online. But as of 2009, those interested in purchasing the Japanese head covers can do so through the Callaway Pre-Owned Online Shop as well as through numerous other online retailers. On the Callaway Golf Pre-Owned site, the head covers retail for approximately $15 apiece.
U.S. Differences
The Big Bertha II Japanese head cover appears very similar in scope to its American counterpart save for a couple of differences. Both lines feature covers for the exact same clubs, but while the Japanese product comes "stock" made in standard blue and silver coloring, the U.S. version is more of a solid navy club color with white trim. Also, each cover features the Big Bertha II logo on the club head with "Great Big Bertha" running up the club shaft.
