Women's LoPro Characteristics
The FootJoy LoPro is wrapped in full grain leather, which provides ample moisture resistance while still allowing flexibility and breathability. The linings are made from a poly urethane material that looks and feels similar to leather and is molded for a slightly squared toe, a narrow heel and an overall snug but comfortable fit. The LoPro's midsoles are made from ethyl vinyl acetate, which will retain its original level of loft and cushion through years of use. The shoe's soles are constructed from FootJoy's proprietary DuraMax rubber, which offers superior grip and traction. The factory-installed spikes are the popular Pulsar cleats from Softspikes. Every pair of LoPro shoes comes with a one-year waterproofing warranty based on normal use. As of 2009, all regular women's LoPro shoes retail for $110.
Customized MyJoy LoPro shoes
FootJoy has a separate product line called MyJoy, which consists of several customizable models of FootJoy golf shoes. The women's LoPro is one of the models available; customers can select the color of the shoe's base, saddle leather, accent stripe and laces. Monograms can also be added in several colors, and icons can be printed on the heel. The standard icons include flags from dozens of countries and several more generic shapes; as of 2009, NFL, MLB and college sports team logos are also available. The price for a pair of customized MyJoy LoPro shoes as of 2009 is $130.
Sizing
The regular women's LoPro shoes are available in half-size increments from size 6 to size 9. The customized MyJoy LoPro shoes are available in those sizes as well as 5, 5.5, 9.5, 10, 11 and 12. The MyJoy versions can also be ordered in different sizes and widths in a single pair to accommodate golfers with unique sizing issues. FootJoy recommends its customers use a Brannock Device to properly measure the length and width of their feet before making a shoe purchase.
Buying LoPro Shoes
Women's LoPro shoes are available for purchase directly from the FootJoy website--a major credit card is required. Both the regular LoPro shoes and the customized MyJoy shoes are also available from third-party online retailers specializing in golf apparel and sports footwear. FootJoy golf shoes are widely available at brick-and-mortar retailers including golf pro shops and sporting goods stores. A retailer locator form is available on the FootJoy website.
