Bridgestone Golf E6 Golf Balls

Bridgestone Golf E6 Golf Balls
One of the biggest challenges for golfers, besides the game itself, is finding equipment that can bring out the best in their game. Too often, attention goes to clubs and grips with little thought paid to what is actually hit--the golf ball. Today's balls are manufactured to help players of all skill levels improve their scores by identifying weaknesses and employing corrective designs to overcome them. Many recreational golfers struggle with hooks or slices. If you're one of them, Bridgestone Golf's E6+ golf ball should be in your bag.

Anti-spin design

The E6+ is engineered to prevent the excessive spin that produces hooks, slices and often lost golf balls. Bridgestone's "anti-spin" cover will forgive swing errors, while the ball's "extra-velocity" inner cover does not sacrifice speed for control. The result is longer and straighter shots off the tee or fairway.

Technology

With a low compression surlyn outer cover dotted with 330 dimples, the E6+ offers a very soft feel off drivers and long irons. On greens, golfers who tend to overshoot the cup will benefit from the ball's soft feel, too, as it needs a bit more bump to get there.

Add yards to your game

Most players find that the E6+ adds yards to their game, either in the air or after the shot lands. With increased accuracy comes increased distance--the ball tends to roll long after dropping onto the fairway.

Get fitted

If you're not sure if the E6+ is the ball for you, Bridgestone Golf offers fitting options. You can answer a few short questions on their website to get custom fitted to this or another ball in the Bridgestone golf ball lineup.

Price

Expect to pay around $25 for a dozen new E6+ balls as of September 2009. They are available through many online shops such as Amazon.com and brick-and-mortar stores including Dick's Sporting Goods.
