Dynamic Line
True Temper makes three shafts in its Dynamic line--the Gold, Gold High Launch and Gold SL. The Gold model is a high-flex (stiff or extra stiff), tour weight steel shaft for low handicap and professional golfers. The shaft appeals to players who desire low ball flight with excellent control and accuracy. The Gold High Launch model is tailored more to the low/mid handicapper and has a higher launch angle to help golfers get the ball in the air. The shaft retains the Gold model control but also helps with trajectory and distance. The lightest shaft in the line, the Gold SL, is 20 percent lighter than the Gold or Gold High Launch. Made of True Temper's proprietary S3 "superlite" technology, this steel shaft is good for players with slower swing speeds. It maintains the Gold line standard of control and trajectory.
GS Line
The GS95 is a revolutionary steel shaft that feels more like graphite and is appropriate for players of all levels. The shaft helps improve the launch angle of the ball, which results in a higher trajectory. The GS75 model is a lighter version of the GS95 and is one of the lightest steel shafts on the market. Like the GS95 model, you'll get a higher trajectory along with more distance. This shaft is a good alternative to graphite.
Dynalite Line
True Temper's Dynalite line is a low-flex (ladies, senior or regular), lightweight shaft available in combination flexes. The shaft may be a senior/ladies flex or regular/stiff flex. The Dynalite Gold shaft is the most popular of the line and produces a higher trajectory. Recommended for mid-high handicappers, this club is also a good choice for players who struggle to get air under the ball. This steel shaft is medium weight, between standard steel and ultra lightweight. The most recent addition to the Dynalite line is the Gold SL, which combines the features of the standard Dynalite shaft with better ball speed and distance.
Other Shafts
True Temper's Black Gold line is a specialty line designed for the ultimate in consistency. The company uses its proprietary "frequency tuned" technology to create a shaft with ultra-specific weight tolerance and excellent balance. The TT Lite XL shaft is designed for bore-through woods and irons, which allows for clubs to built longer than standard lengths without using a shaft extension. This shaft incorporates the company's "lite" technology and was designed for use by custom club fitters. True Temper also has a line of classic shafts available in graphite, steel and the company's specialty metal bimatrx.
Putter Shafts
True Temper makes 12 putter shafts for use on standard or belly putters. The company makes seven standard (38") length putter shafts, one 50" shaft and four 53" shafts. These shafts provide good feel and control. If you need a shorter putter, these shafts may be custom fit.
Low Vibration Technology
True Temper uses its patented "SensiCore" technology to reduce vibration in the shaft. The shafts have a polymer core that drastically reduces vibration, which results in improved feel as well as reducing wear and tear on the body. This technology is available in True Temper's Dynamic Gold, Dynalite Gold, Dynamic Gold Lite, Dynamic Gold SL, Custom Lite and Release lines.
