Style
Available in mahogany, black and white, the Adidas Tour Metal is a classy, good-looking shoe out of the box, combining the technological comfort of contemporary golf footwear and the classic styling of a high-end shoe.
Technology
A two-year waterproof guarantee accompanies this shoe and, as with most golf shoes, is the most important technological aspect. The "metal" part of the shoe is a solid and supportive midsole that keeps your feet anchored in every part of your swing.
Comfort
Like Adidas' first forays into golf footwear, these shoes are extremely lightweight and easy to walk in. The down side is they do not have significant padding in the tongue and heel like the company's newer releases, the Power Band and the Tour 360. If you have strong, flexible feet and no history of foot pain or problems, this shoe might still be a great option.
Sole Plate
The spikes on this shoe follow more of a traditional design than some of the more modern models. Generally a smooth sole with only replaceable soft spikes for traction, these shoes are better suited for dry days than slippery damp mornings or rainy afternoons.
Pricing
Originally retailing at about $140, when you can find this shoe, you'll be able to purchase it for about $105 considering it is no longer available from the manufacturer.
